emh was inspired by life itself, it's not just a shop. Although, the jewel of our crown is a beautiful shop in a lovely town just north of London. eye mind heart is for those that see. It the concious desciosn to do things that resonate with your soul. It was inspired by 2 quotes. The first " Photography is ones eye, mind & heart on the same axis" by Henri Cartier-Bresson, a prolific french photo journalist. The second, "Photography teaches you a way of looking at the world" by Eddie Otchere, a very highly regarded photographer and teacher. Somewhere between these quotes, you'll find the emh principles.

A little website to tackle a big problem. Whilst runnign Film's not Dead. our mission was, and is, to safeguard the future of film photography. A major concern of ours was pricing, when something become 'niche' the price generally rises to reflect that, not something us or our community wanted. After speakign to industry leaders, it was surprising to hear it was actually a concern for them too, with a lower price to market being a goal.

To try and crack the issue, we created a business model that's favoured by both manufacturer and consumer. In a basic sense, its a flash sale site promoting and sellign different type's of photographic film, behind the scenes it enables consumers to purchase film at the lowest prices ever seen and allows manufacturers to go straight to market with signifcant quantities.

emh projects are a group of ideas that have all been brought to life by the us. We are a small team of focussed individuals, our backgrounds range but between us we have worked for major publications (Monocle, World of Interiors...) Brands ( Kodak, Adidas...) and more. These were great learning curves, but left us feeling like something was missing
